We Need to Talk
Location: Burlington, VT
Date: Fall 2017
Details: We Need to Talk was put on by myself and my friend Sean Flynn during the first semester of my Sophomore year. It was at a collaborative working space called Study Hall on College St. in downtown Burlington. I believe that there were around 15 artists from the area with work in this show. Our friends from The Brazen Youth played an intimate set after a Boston-based jazz duo. About an hour into the show we hit max capacity which we had never dealt with although it was quite swiftly handled by our college student security team. Somebody brought a bunch of prop money and left it everywhere and just about everyone in there pocketed some of it. A good marketing idea for the future!?
