Big Face Pop-Up
Location: Cleveland, OH
Date: Spring 2019
Details: Big Face Pop-Up took place at a coffee shop in downtown Cleveland. This was to showcase a line of clothes that we had been working on for the past couple months. I printed each item by hand in my small studio in Burlington and completed everything two days before the event. I was also moving out of my Burlington apartment at the time. As hectic as things were, I managed to print over 100 items in roughly 48 hour, moved out of my apartment, and made it home to Cleveland the day before. This was more of a gallery style event rather than something incredibly upbeat. We had our friend Sharkboy2k on the boards again and pumped a steady 120bpm all night to keep things moving but not too quickly. With being right downtown, there was a draw for walking traffic which created a pretty diverse group of people including a multi-platinum producer who was in the area. There was walking traffic, people who were invited, and people who heard about it through our marketing. All together the environment created a place for people to hangout, enjoy themselves, meet new people, see old friends, and purchase some clothes.
