Details: Big Face Ball Drop 2020 took place in a small dive bar in Ohio City. In November, my friends and I were looking ahead to see what was going on for New Years. Cleveland being Cleveland, of course there wasn’t much going on. We got in touch with the owner of the location across from my friend’s place of work and he was willing to let us do something. We rearranged the set-up and brought in some lights and streamers to keep things fancy. We had Sharkboy2k and bigting.s play DJ sets, with a set from Lonely Pirate Committee (my favorite band) in the middle. Their set was insane if you can’t tell by the photos. We spent about $300 on complimentary champagne so I think we may have lost some money on this one. It was absolutely worth it, though. The alcohol sales still made the owner happy.
